Drop off at Provo MTC

Saying goodbye to Luna was the hardest, she followed him around all morning. She new something was up.  Originally Tyler was supposed to go to the Mexico MTC and Calvin was assigned to report to the Guatemala MTC. Both were moved to Provo on the same day.  First companion Elder Allan. He emailed us later that day and said "Elder Allan is my companion from Mapleton, he's a total stud and I love him already!"

Pinning Honduras in the Stake Presidents office after being set apart as Elder Child. Was very spiritual and emotional for everyone. The family that attended Calvin being set apart a missionary. The boys said their last goodbyes, Zac and Robbie were already out in the field. They blasted "We will bring the world his truth" as the drove away... tears.

Farewell

Uncle Brad prepared and smoked all the meat in the Trager all night for the best pulled pork ever! Fathers and Sons We spent all Summer and especially the week before getting the new yard and furniture ready for all the guests. It turned out perfect. The ladies. Calvin's farewell talk touched so many as he shared his own trials and struggles over the years leading up to him serving a mission. Not a dry eye in the chapel. What does it mean to take upon myself the name of Jesus Christ? Good afternoon brothers and sisters, I feel honored and privileged to speak to you today.  I am grateful for my friends and family who have sacrificed their time to come and be here for me and to share this time with me.
